About Taleem-Ul-Millat Trust

Taleem-Ul-Millat Trust is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) which works to establish much-needed educational, welfare and health facilities in impoverished and disadvantaged areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. The Trust works mainly in these under-developed and remote arres but also has ongoing plans to expand in the UK (Bradford) with the establishment of an Islamic educational centre for children and young people The Trust has its roots in the historical institute, Markazi Darul-Uloom Gosia Mehria, which was founded by Hazrat Ustazul-Ulama Maulana Ali Muhamas Chishti Golarvi (r.a) in 1940 for the propagation of both religious and mottem education. To this day, this institute has provided (and continues to do s thousands with religious and contemporary education and amongst the graduates of this blessed institution, there are innumerable Ulama, Professors, Qurra, Huffaz and teachers who have all gone on to serve Islam all over the world, such as Kashmir, Pakistan and the UK.

Since 1998 Taleem-Ul-Millat Trust UK has been working to establish modern educational, welfare and health facilities in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. The Trust manages Markazi Darul-uloom Ghosia Mehria Kalran Abbaspur Azad Kashmir which is a historic educational institution which provides free education to the children of poor families and orphans. As well as not charging any school fees the books, stationary and uniform are all provided free of charge to all students. As well as providing a religious studies syllabus it also provides a modern comprehensive English Medium education free of charge.

In the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan the Trust was actively involved in providing, clothes, blankets and emergency living supplies to the affected people of the quake. To this day the Trust continues to support many families who were affected by the quake. In the 2010 floods in Pakistan, the trust provided relief, support and emergency supplies to many parts of the flood affected areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Finally every year the Trust organises a Collective Qurbani Project in which hundreds of animals are sacrificed according to Islamic Law. The meat is then distributed in the poorer areas of Pakistan & Azad Kashmir where families cannot afford to eat meat.

Operational Areas of the Trust

The Trust will operate mainly operate in underdeveloped areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir. Thus it aims to provide educational facilities to the children who live in these areas, to orphans and also to children whose families cannot afford their education.

The Trust aims to operate in Bradford to open an educational institution which also provides modern religious education to the youth and children.

Targets of the Trust

To provide useful high quality education free of charge to the remote areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir which lack basic educational facilities.

To built A&E & Maternity Hospital in the Abbas Pur Poonch Azad Kashmir which will provide medical care and medicine free of charge to all poor patients. After the completion of building we will start free ambulance service. Also the Trust aims to provide an emergency response ambulance service in parts where there is no such facilities in the remote areas of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.

In case of natural disasters in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir the trust will provide relief and support wherever the need arises.
