Emergency and Disaster Relief.
The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him said: "There is reward for kindness to every living thing." (IBukhari and Muslim)
Taleem-ul-Millat Trust also responds to disasters and emergencies and aims to promote sustainable economic and social development by working in areas where there is little or no governmental aid.
In the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, Taleem-ul-Millat Trust was actively involved in providing clothes, blankets and emergency food supplies to those greatly affected.
In the 2010 Pakistan floods, the Trust provided relief in the form of clean water, life- saving food, shelter and toiletries to families and individuals who had lost everything.
Taleem-ul-Millat Trust continues to support and help those affected in devastated areas of Kashmir and Pakistan. We aim to not only save lives but also help to rebuild them long after the disaster has subsided.
